A Personal Note from The Artisan

I began praying the rosary as a young child. Growing up in Columbus, Ohio, I was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and lived a very active liturgical life. For my first communion my parents gave me a rosary and a children's missal, both of which I still have today.

In my teen years I took up the trade of working as a piano technician. From early in my life I was bending wire... piano wire.

In 1990 I became a member of the Company of Mary under the rule of St. Louis de Montfort. He is known as one of the great saints who promoted a proper understanding of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the rosary. The first two books that I read by St. Louis were True Devotion to Mary & The Secret of the Rosary. These works inspired me to begin making rosaries.

The most unique factor about my rosaries is that I consider them more like practical works of art. Instead of buying ready made findings from suppliers and stringing them together as most do, I take it upon myself to painstakingly hand craft every chain link, bow and eyelet from a single coil of sterling wire.

My philosophy in life dictates that everything I undertake must be accomplished with the greatest care and attention to detail. Like a fine wine or a masterful painting, there can never be too much time or resource devoted to my efforts. Becuase I hold myself to this standard I believe my rosaries are one of the finest you will find on the face of the earth.

You can learn more about me on my personal website.

Thank you for taking the time and interest in my rosaries. May God bless you and your loved ones.
